Keeps your drink hot or cold for an extended period of time.
bq bottle designed to offer 24 hours of cold insulation and 16 hours of hot insulation.
Sweat-Free Design.
We get it. Nobody likes sweaty hands. Our bottles are condensation free, keeping your hands dry and the bottle slip free.
Foam Insulated Core (FIC)
Thermo depreciate quickly at the bottle neck area. We tested with our FIC bottle cap, and our bottle gained extra 2 hours thermo protection in hot water and 5 hours in cold water.
Steel shield bottom
We’ve implemented a food-grade stainless steel protection at the bottom of every bq bottle cap. It protects your drink inside a 360 stainless steel environment.
Silicon soft grip
We want zero detent and smooth to touch design bottle cap. However, we also want to make sure people can grip tight while opening our bottle. The solution is adding a matching color silicon soft grip at the peak of the curve.
Double silicone gasket
Short answer: Double the seal.
Long answer: We kept one gasket closest to the Steel Shield and another gasket at the lips of the bottle. We gain longer gasket life cycle and better thermo seal.
Not too narrow, not too wide.
We want an optimal opening for our bq bottle. It should be wide enough for most ice cube but not too wide to let drink spill while drinking from it. Most importantly, bq bottle is wide enough to clean by brushes too.
Not too thick, not too thin.
Thin stainless-steel wall is lighter in weight but too weak to withstand high vacuum pressure, resulting poor insulation performance. Although thick stainless-steel wall offers better insulation, but they are too heavy for everyday use. bq bottle picked the best optimal thickness which offers 24 hours of cold insulation and 12 hours of hot insulation but light weight to carry around.
Not all stainless steel created equally, our bq bottle only use premium quality food-grade stainless steel.
Reuse & Rehydrated
It's a win-win situration. You stay hydrated, our planet is saved from more waste.
We are just two average guys with a background in product design and engineering who happen to be incredibly stubborn. We were tired of our "client" or "boss" asking us to cut corners in order to maximize their profit margin.
10 years ago, we gave ourselves the challenge to innovate and improve on objects we use daily. And we started with this little bottle.
